Posted under Poker & online poker & poker information & poker rooms & poker tournament

The biggest online poker room FullTilt.com is releasing a new and innovative poker interface that includes innovative new elements on both the front end and backend and creates an easier poker experience.

The first thing poker players will notice is a fresh welcome page boasting a brand new modern appearance as well as a few brand new aspects such as a list of random security guidelines displayed on the bottom of the screen. Full Tilt new client software gives players 3 distinct lobby views: Basic, Standard and Classic View.

The Basic View offers novice poker players the opportunity of catching up with the new poker client and viewing the games without the demands of participating. The Basic View provides step by step reports on all the existing poker games, and gives players the ability to decide on their currency, type of game, Game (Hold’em, Omaha Hi or HL, Stud and Mixed Games), Limit (Fixed, Pot or No Limit), and Stake. In addition poker players can now check the action before joining a poker table with the new “Observe Table” choice or click on “Browse Table to view the list of open tables.

The Standard View provides information about all the existing poker games and allows poker players to modify the list of poker games and tables to present only the poker games of their preference. This option also offers players the possibility of choosing the type of table, poker game, stake and view the tables before jumping in the poker action.

Poker players can also select the Classic view and stay with Full Tilt Poker’s initial lobby, however, this choice will be accessible for a limited time only and will be terminated shortly.

Both the Basic and Standard views also include innovative new characteristics such as new revolving graphic screen located on the left that provides customers direct entry to FullTiltPoker’s promos and events including the FTOPS, Iron Man, Play with the Pros, Full Tilt Poker Academy, Poker Deposit Bonuses, and many other poker promotions and Full Tilt Poker Tournaments, as well as an option for video that allows players to view videos directly from the Full Tilt Poker client.

Online Texas Hold’em Investigation Story will air on Television

Posted under poker players & poker rooms & texas holdem

60 minutes special
On Sunday, November 30th CBS will show their investigation special “How Online Gamblers Unmasked Cheaters”. This documentary was produced after a 4 month inquiry into the online Texas Hold’em poker industry and exclusively a cheating scandal in relation to the online Texas Hold’em page Absolute Poker.

This Texas Hold’em room was examined after several of the Texas Hold’em poker players on the website said that a player was unjustly winning a great amount of cash. Todd Witteles was a key witness in this investigation, according to him; he was losing large amounts of poker chips to the exact same Texas Hold’em player. Witteles claimed that this gambler was raising against incredibly good hands, the majority of people would have assumed he was basically giving his money to the other players, but he was in reality earning tons of poker chips.

Witteles was correct about his suppositions, much later it was discovered that someone on the inside was able to watch anyone’s poker hole cards. At first look, Absolute Poker said that there was no wrongdoing with the site or the poker player. After lots more players presented the site with accusations, the poker webpage studied deeper into the cheating problem and discovered wrongdoing.

In Jan. of this year, the gaming commission exposed what the poker competitors and the Texas Hold’em room had suspected all the time. As it turns out, there was a worker who had broken through the poker webpage’s security system and was competing illegitimately for approximately six weeks. The inquiry showed that the Texas Hold’em poker webpage had not benefited from the unlawful activities in any way, and was not implicated.

These crimes are further proof that there should be more guidelines in regards to Texas Hold’em poker sites. The United States government needs to license and regulate the internet Texas Hold’em industry to defend these honorable clients. These regulations would also police the entry to these pages by children, which is turning into another issue these days.

Online Poker Rooms and Casinos Look to the Future for Relief from Government Regulations

Posted under Poker & online casinos & online poker & poker games & poker rooms

Online poker rooms and casinos such as Fulltiltpoker.com have become extremely popular in recent years, prompting all manner of legislation and regulation that stems from the government in order to shut down the world popular and extremely famous online poker rooms and casinos. With this effort to crack down on the widely popular online poker rooms and online casinos, the United States government has had all manner of success, regulating players abilities to generate revenue through these types of online poker rooms and casinos. With so much emphasis on creating these types of difficulties, it is easy to overlook the current efforts by many government lobbyists who have done everything that they can to create all manner of positive environments for the earning and generating of revenue on the Internet. With this new focus on alleviating some of these types of regulations, it is very likely that the future might hold good news for online poker rooms and casinos who have been afflicted with the difficult government regulations that make it so hard to compete on the Internet due to the strict regulations involved and difficulty of players to sign up and compete at their favorite online poker rooms and casinos on the Internet such as Full Tilt Poker. With the government crackdown, only time will tell how the whole thing will turn out.

As more and more players flock to the Internet to compete at these poker rooms and casinos on the web, it is clear that online poker has become an extremely popular pastime and that many players from around the world enjoy competing against real-life human beings over the Internet. With all this focus on Internet based poker and casino competition, it is hardly surprising that the government would want to try to generate some type of revenue through this exchange. Unfortunately, with the nearsighted effect that the government has had in the past, they have left themselves minimal methods of generating revenue, predicating the revalidation of these types of laws that are considered to be somewhat unnecessary as well as harsh and draconian in nature. By repealing some of these laws, online poker players will be able to compete at their favorite game online as well as generate revenue through the world famous online poker rooms and casinos while providing plenty of taxable revenue for the United States government to take advantage of as well. With this win-win situation, the only question is why the arrangements that online poker rooms and casinos have in foreign countries have taken so long to catch on in the United States.

Online Poker Room and Casino Effort in Europe a Smash Success

Posted under Poker & online casinos & online poker & poker rooms

With all the difficulties in the past between online poker rooms and casinos and the United States government, it only makes sense that establishment proprietors would begin to look overseas into areas such as Europe to base their online poker rooms and casinos, rather than deal with the difficult and treacherous waters of the United States government and their overzealous crackdown on poker rooms on the Internet. As more and more online poker rooms and casinos target the foreign market, the United States government is increasingly clueless and continues to squander a veritable fortune in available revenue.

The economic outlook in the European market seems so positive in fact that even the Las Vegas Sands Corporation, traditionally an off-line, brick and mortar establishment, has set their sights on the European market as an untapped gold mine of potentially profitable new online poker room and casino players in the European market. With the Las Vegas Sands Corporation and its attempt to reach out to international markets to prop up the incoming revenue stream for the ubiquitous Las Vegas hotels and casinos throughout the world, it is fairly obvious that many traditionally domestically based gambling and gaming institutions have begun to doubt the domestic markets ability to effectively recuperate from the latest economic downturn as quickly as it has in the past. With all the discussion of limited revenue and minimal forecasted returns in the near future, it is not surprising that so many of these traditionally United States-based industries have begun to look to overseas economies and developing nations for incoming revenue. With the vacuum created by the slumping domestic market, organizations such as the Las Vegas Sands Corporation have had little choice but to look beyond the local horizons and utilize the international community and the global market in an attempt to recover from the reduced the amount of revenue generated in the domestic market.

Fortunately for establishment proprietors, the returns from the European market for online poker rooms such have been overwhelmingly successful, as more and more European players log onto the Internet to take part in the gambling and gaming that occurs in the world-famous poker rooms and casinos on the web. As the game of online poker becomes more and more popular in the international community, it is very likely that many of these online poker rooms and casinos will begin to switch their focus to this new emerging market.
